The Red Sea project welcomes first 4 Sheybarah villas

The Sheybarah villas were modularly constructed in Sharjah and shipped to Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea project via sea transportation

Red Sea Global starts 2023 with a new milestone as they welcome the very first batch of modularly-constructed villas for its Sheybarah Resort.

Transported by heavy lifting and transportation company Mammoet, a total of four villas were shipped to the island to kick-start construction at the site. Mammoet won the contract to transport all 73 villa pods to the kingdom back in May 2022.

Located in the southeast of Red Sea Global’s archipelago in the Red Sea, the Sheybarah Hotel is a 73-room hyper-luxury resort situated on Sheybarah Island.

The island is home to a highly diverse environment with mangroves, white sand dune beaches, and some of the most pristine coral reefs in the world hosting many species of fish and other marine animals.

The resort, designed by Dubai-based architectural firm Killa Design, comprises uniquely shaped overwater and beach villas, arrival, front of house and F&B buildings and other facilities.

The approach to the façade design was to minimise the visual impact of the architecture on the environment by employing a highly reflective polished stainless steel cladding that reflects the natural surroundings: the ocean, the sky, sand dunes and the reef below.

The villas are being manufactured offsite by metal production specialist – Grankraft Industries in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
