Aramco grants $148m project to Egypt’s Petrojet

Aramco’s expanded facility is expected to be operational by mid-2025

Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company Luberef has awarded a contract worth $148 million to the Egyptian group Petrojet.

The major engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract entails the expansion of Aramco’s facility at Yanbu in Saudi Arabia.

The Yanbu Growth II Expansion project aims at expanding the existing units to their maximum potential production capacity of 1.3 million tonnes per annum.

The project is scheduled to be completed by the end of August 2025. Once commercial operations kick off, the project is expected to have a powerful financial impact by H2 2025.
