Egis wins contract to manage 26 airports in Saudi Arabia

Egis has been operating in Saudi Arabia for almost 30 years

Matarat, formerly Saudi Civil Aviation Holding Company, has awarded a three-year contract to the engineering and operations company Egis to provide consulting services for 26 airports in the kingdom.

Matarat manages the operation of 27 airports across Saudi Arabia through its subsidiaries, which aim to develop the kingdom’s airports and improve their performance. Some of these subsidiaries include Riyadh Airports, Jeddah Airports, Dammam Airports, and Cluster2.

The project is designed to provide support for strategic planning in order to define and plan a portfolio of five-year projects, work on the comprehensive plan programme for the kingdom’s airports, and monitor and follow up the alignment of future projects and program outputs with the strategic and governance objectives of Matarat.
