Driven by social responsibility and charity, PIF-powered real estate developer, and largescale communities’ giga-project, ROSHN Group announced a donation of $6.664mn (SAR25mn) to the National Platform for Charitable Work “Ehsan”. The action occurred through the group’s “YUHYEEK” programme, and came following the news of a one-year agreement signed between the two entities.

The purpose of the donation is to align and materialise ROSHN and Ehsan’s efforts as they work to execute a nationwide campaign covering multiple community development programmes, including home renovations and maintenance, food baskets, family aid, Eid giveaways to children, corporate fundraising volunteering initiatives, and support to national NGOs for the benefit of people with disabilities, sustainability, education, and the arts.

“This donation is one of the initiatives that we hold dear to our hearts at ROSHN, as we continue to strive to be not only a real estate developer, but also a community developer that enables, supports, and gives back to society. Our ‘YUHYEEK’ Social Responsibility programme is founded on this principle and aims to make a humanitarian impact that extends beyond the boundaries of our construction projects,” said Ghada AlRumayan, ROSHN Group CMO. “ROSHN believes that the wellbeing of individuals forms the basis of a strong society, and through ‘YUHYEEK’ we hope to create a deep-rooted culture of social responsibility starting with our employees and extending to all segments of society.”

Commitment to the Community

ROSHN plans to distribute more than 1,000 food baskets to over 500 families across the kingdom during Ramadan, supporting in the renovation and maintenance of houses of unprivileged families, fund the delivery of several health services to patients around Saudi Arabia. These initiatives, commenced by the beginning of Ramadan, will continue further throughout the year.

In addition to this, ROSHN will contribute though the “YUHYEEK” ambassadors’ programme, where employees and members of their families can volunteer to support with the initiatives and programmes delivered by “YUHYEEK”. ROSHN will continue to utilise its assets throughout its sponsorships to promote the good deeds during Ramadan.

This latest agreement is part of ROSHN Group’s wider effort to establish itself as a leading force in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and sustainable development among real estate developers in the Kingdom and the region, through its support for initiatives promoting social equity, environmental protection, and good governance. Both the “YUHYEEK” Social Responsibility Programme and ROSHN’s strategic partnerships contribute to the Group’s broader commitment to enhancing the quality of life of Saudi citizens.

Over the past two years, ROSHN has sponsored a rich array of charitable, cultural, entertainment and sports activities in the Kingdom, including LIV Golf, ROSHN Saudi League, Riyadh Season, F1, Riyadh Marathon, and the Jeddah Marathon. The Group is also a significant contributor to the Saudi Green Initiative through the ambitious tree and shrub planting scheme being deployed across its communities, and has backed other significant social initiatives, such as the Zahra Breast Cancer Association.
