The KSA Infrastructure Summit 2022, set to be a dynamic and compelling summit on the future of infrastructure in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is underway.
The summit, in its second year, is a platform for industry peers to engage in insightful conversations about the current state of infrastructure development in the kingdom.
Through the virtual summit, Construction Week Middle East brings together the most renowned names from the Middle East region’s construction and infrastructure industry, to address the challenges and opportunities surrounding KSA’s infrastructure development.
Saudi Arabia has witnessed some of the highest scales of investments in transport and related infrastructure, and the KSA Infrastructure Summit 2022 will highlight several aspects pertaining to the growth of transport and social infrastructure projects.
KSA Infrastructure Summit 2022 summit line-up
The keynote speech for KSA Infrastructure Summit 2022 will be given by Nasser Al Shawaf, a board member at Al Bawani Holding Company on how Saudi Arabia is becoming an opportune market driven by infrastructure growth, which is followed by three panel discussions and closing remarks from Ranju Warrier, the editor of Construction Week Middle East.
Panel 1: “Building on Vision 2030” will explore how KSA is Building on Vision 2030 for the advancement of infrastructure development. The speakers featured in the panel are Christian Abrahamsen, vice president of transportation at Khatib & Alami, Kenny Linn, partner-capital project services leader at PwC Middle East, and Wael Issa Al Rashdi, business development director at MASAH Specialized Construction, moderated by Ranju Warrier, editor of Construction Week Middle East.
Panel 2: “Addressing the Challenges Facing Smart Cities Infrastructure” will discuss the opportunities and challenges in executing large-scale infrastructure of smart cities. The participants of the discussion are Sameer Daoud, executive director of infrastructure at KEO International Consultants. Manal Sayed, senior director of geospatial systems integration (GSI) division at Khatib & Alami, and Omar Delawar, CEO at DHB Holding, moderated by Ranju Warrier, editor of Construction Week Middle East.
Panel 3: “Designing the Infrastructure of the Future” will be hosted by Jane O’Neill, the editor of Commercial Interior Design – a sister publication of ITP Media Group, featuring Sherif Bialy, director of infrastructure supervision at WSP Middle East, Waleed Khaled, sales director at Losberger De Boer, and Kintibye Idris, client development director at AECOM Middle East.
