Saudi Arabia’s bedrock of megaprojects and their increasing investment opportunities despite the Covid-19 pandemic and the consequent fluctuations in market conditions show how infrastructure development has become a national priority for the kingdom.
According to Mordor Intelligence’s report, the kingdom is predicted to witness robust infrastructure growth at a CAGR of 6%.
Infrastructure boom in Saudi Arabia
As such, KSA is home to some of the biggest infrastructure projects in the region including the upcoming Riyadh Metro, Jeddah Metro, Makkah Public Transport Programme, AlUla International Airport, and Red Sea International Airport, among others. Additionally, the kingdom is also witnessing a transformation in its infrastructure which is further supported by the launch of the new National Infrastructure Fund (NIF).
To this end, the team at Construction Week Middle East is honoured to announce the panel discussion titled “Designing the Infrastructure of the Future” at our upcoming KSA Infrastructure Summit 2022. The panel discussion focusing on the essential nature and advantages of good design is organised in collaboration with our sister title Commercial Interior Design.
The panel will explore how Saudi Arabia could alleviate challenges associated with constructing integrated infrastructure, whether social or transportation, by embracing innovative design techniques. In addition, panellists will discuss on how major infrastructure projects around the country have produced great examples for the region to learn from.
