SCA partners with Construction Week Middle East for Leaders in Construction UAE summit

Scheduled to be held on 14 September 2022, with SCA as the associate partner, the conference will include one-on-one sessions, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and a presentations from industry experts

Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA) has formed a partnership agreement with Construction Week Middle East, due to which the former will join Construction Week Middle East’s Leaders in Construction UAE summit as an associate partner.

Scheduled to be held on 14 September 2022, the conference will include one-on-one sessions, keynote speeches, panel discussions, and presentations from industry experts.

Eng Thabet Al-Sawyeed, governor of the Saudi Contractors Authority, will be delivering the presentation as the spokesperson for SCA, providing critical insight into the impact of industry trends and issues, as well as an analysis of key risks and opportunities in the UAE construction industry.

SCA to partner for Leaders in Construction summit in Egypt and KSA

As part of the strategic partnership, SCA will also be the sector regulators for the Leaders in Construction KSA Summit and associate partners for the Leaders in Construction conference in Egypt.

Considering the growing construction landscape in Saudi Arabia, the SCA’s contribution to the Leaders in Construction conference will allow key individuals and their industries to understand the kingdom’s vital role in accelerating the industry in the Middle East.

The SCA represents an integral part of the Saudi construction market, working to increase the sustainability of the contracting sector by being a pioneer in creating well-rounded work environments within the industry.

Leaders in Construction UAE will follow the below agenda:

  • Panel 1: Creating a more productive and sustainable construction sector

The first panel discussion will explore expert analysis of the factors that could help the contracting process become more future-proof and have a better capital spending plan.  

  • Panel 2: The rise of master communities in the UAE

The second panel discussion will focus on how the emirates is introducing more master communities centred on human well-being in addition to providing inclusive facilities.

  • Panel 3: Will digitalisation become more pervasive in UAE construction?

In the third panel, the panellists will engage in discussions to share the sector’s journey into digitalisation and what more needs to be done.

  • Panel 4: Strengthening supply chain management

In the last panel, experts will analyse how supply chain management could help improve the inventory visibility and velocity in the construction sector as they highlight the challenges currently being faced by suppliers in the industry.
