Construction Week Middle East, in partnership with Construction Week Saudi, is hosting the Leaders in Construction KSA summit on 28 September 2022 at the Sheraton Riyadh Hotel in Saudi Arabia.
Supported by the ambitious Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia is building multi-billion-dollar worth of gigaprojects that will redefine the future of real estate and construction in the kingdom.
In line with this, Construction Week Middle East’s Leaders in Construction KSA summit’s first panel discussion of the day will share insights on how these gigaprojects are progressing by overcoming challenges that have never been experienced.
Panel members for the session Progress report of Saudi Arabia’s gigaprojects, which will run from 09.35AM to 10.15AM will feature:

Anthony McCarter – Ramboll
McCarter has more than 35 years of experience with engineering consultancies specific to the built environment. Over the course of 25 years in the Middle East, Anthony has worked on many landmark projects throughout the region and with many of the prominent private and quasi-government developers, as well as collaborated with a variety of architectural practices.
Darren Burke – ALEC
Burke has over 24 years of experience across a variety of sectors, including malls, commercial offices, government buildings, retail and hotels. Having delivered complex projects, including One Za’abeel, the UAE and KSA Pavilion at EXPO 2020, Burke has taken on the role of GM for ALEC in Saudi Arabia where he is helping lead the company’s expansion.
Saud Mohammed Alsulaimani – JLL
Appointed as JLL KSA’s country head on September 2022, Alsulaimani will strengthen JLL’s presence in the kingdom with a focus on technology and sustainability. Prior to joining JLL, Alsulaimani was the Executive Director at the Tourism Development Fund, where he managed the Real Estate Development and Research department.
Moderator: Sachin Kerur – Reed Smith
Kerur is a partner in Reed Smith’s Energy and Natural Resources practice and Office Managing Partner of the firm’s Middle East offices. He has over 24 years of experience advising the government and the private sector on privatised and publicly procured infrastructure and development works, particularly across the Middle East and India.
The Leaders KSA event will feature presentations, panel discussions, and fireside chats with esteemed members from the industry, in addition to a keynote speech by Eng Thabet M Al-Sawyeed from Saudi Contractors Authority.
