Dammam wastewater project to start commercial ops in 2023

The wastewater project is part of the Dammam West Independent Sewage Treatment Plant

Saudi Water Partnership Company (SWPC) has announced that Dammam West ISTP Outfall Pipeline project is on track for launch of commercial operations later this year.

A major project for the kingdom, Dammam ISTP is being developed at a total cost of $240 million on a build, own, operate and transfer model by a consortium of UAE-based Metito Company with its partners Moh and Orascom Construction. Once done, it will have a capacity of 200,000 cubic meter per day.

Deloitte Financial Advisory Services handled the financial advisory of the project, Atkins Global the technical advisory, and Pinsent Masons the legal advisory.
