BIM & Digital Twins Middle East 2022
One of the region’s leading and biggest event on Building Information Modelling (BIM), digital twins and related technology – BIM & Digital Twins Middle East 2022, organised in partnership with buildingSMART UAE, Dubai Municipality, Land Department, and buildingSMART International will be held at Crowne Plaza Dubai, in the UAE on 20 and 21 September.
The two-day event’s theme is Open BIM & Digital Twins: The Key to Industry 4.0 and includes a conference plus a workshop on the latest developments in BIM, digital twins, GIS, digital design, digital transformation, 3D and related technology. Presentations will focus on the role of digital construction technology from project concept and design, project management, to full lifecycle asset management.
Presentations will be given by organisations in the government and private sector, which are at the forefront of the region’s construction industry, in addition to, international organisations that are leaders in smart, sustainable construction and built asset management.

Smart Construction Conference & Expo 2022
The Smart Construction Conference & Expo 2022 event is organized in partnership with the Centre of Excellence in Smart Construction at Heriot-Watt University. It focuses on new concepts and recommendations for national efforts toward the smart construction agenda.
Presentations will be conducted by the government, private sector, and academic organisations that are industry leaders in smart, sustainable construction. The program will include real case study applications of smart construction processes that can create significant benefits for the industry and all stakeholders, in addition, panel sessions and workshops will discuss and explore key elements in depth.
Topics that will be covered include digital transformation; developing a smart construction agenda; solutions for smart, sustainable infrastructure; offsite optimisation and modular construction; 3D printing; beyond green buildings for net zero; decarbonisation of cement and the development of smart materials; energy efficient technologies; developing sustainable construction strategies; and employee health, safety, and wellbeing.

A joint morning plenary session for all delegates with presentations relevant for both the above events will be conducted, followed by two separate conferences in addition to a workshop.
