The Jeddah Islamic Port received this week the Best Seaport and the Digital Transition awards for 2022.
Representing the Saudi Ports Authority, or Mawani, the entity received the awards in recognition of its quality transformation and developments as well as sustainability, clean energy, and green shipping. This also includes Smart Port Initiative and the implementation of innovative digital programs.
The Best Port Award for 2022 came during the International Green Shipping Summit in competition with Rotterdam and Hamburg ports and the Digital Transition Award was one of the seven awards of the Global Maritime and Logistics Summit.
