Roshn unveils 18,000-unit residential project in Eastern Province

Built near Dakhna and Al Qarah Mountains, the Alfulwa project mixes between urban facilities and nature

The Saudi community developer Roshn has announced the launch of Alfulwa, its fourth residential community in the kingdom, covering a 10.8-million-sqm area on the Al Ahsa Oasis in the Eastern Province.

Alfulwa project marks the fourth community launched by Roshn, following the introduction of Sedra and Warefah in Riyadh and Alarous in Jeddah.

Backed by the kingdom’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), Roshn’s new project will feature more than 18,000 residential units with a population capacity of 100,000 people. The area is located 7km from the centre of Al Hofuf city, one of Al Ahsa Oasis’s main urban centres.

“In its design and construction, Alfulwa adheres to the sustainability principle, contributing to a 18% reduction in energy consumption costs,” said David Grover, the group’s CEO.

“In addition, the project incorporates unique architectural features of the Eastern Province’s buildings making it an ideal example of traditional architecture,” he added.
