Alfanar is a global company with Saudi roots, primarily engaged in the manufacturing and trading of a wide variety of low, medium, and high voltage electrical products, in addition to its portfolio of conventional and renewable energy solutions, oil and gas, water treatment, infrastructure, technical services, digital solutions, and electronics engineering.
Some of the firm’s major achievements in the last 12 months includes achieving 5A1 credit rating from D&B; its Sustainable Aviation Fuel project in the UAE received a grant from the government for the SAF initiative; in Spain, it concluded the sale of 100MW asset; in India, the firm commissioned a 300MW wind farm and arranged a competitive refinancing for the project; in Saudi Arabia, it was declared the preferred bidder for a multi-billion development project.
Additionally the company completed the installation of five million smart metre project ahead of schedule. The value of its completed projects include $266.6mn (SAR1bn) Bhuj wind farm in India and $1.3bn (SAR5bn) smart metre project in Saudi Arabia. The company currently has ongoing projects worth over $799.7mn (SAR3bn).
Coming out of 2021, the company has a backlog of $1.9bn (SAR7bn) and its turnover in 2021 was $1.8bn (SAR6.9bn). It expects to clock $2.6bn (SAR9.7bn) in turnover in 2022. Alfanar operates a 700,000m2 manufacturing hub in Riyadh.
