Tareg Al-Jaafari Contracting (TAREG)
Founded in 1989 by Eng. Tareg Aljaafari as a general contracting firm, Tareg Aljaafari Contracting Est. (TAREG) initially carried out civil works in Eastern Provence. Four years later, the company expanded its business and introduced an electro-mechanical division.
Since 1989, TAREG has established itself as a preferred contractor in Saudi Arabia having executed more than 100 projects with a total value exceeding $533.2mn (SAR2bn). The contractor has been handling design and build turnkey projects in both civil and electro-mechanical fields.
It is an approved and qualified contractor by Saudi Electricity Company and National Grid Saudi Arabia, has been involved in design and build for transmission and distribution projects all over the kingdom. TAREG specialises in high voltage substation construction, modifications, and maintenance.
Headquartered in Dammam has been delivering a full range of design and build and general contracting services to private, commercial, industrial and government sectors and companies.
TAREG was reportedly one of 15 bidders for the construction contract for the $150mn Jubail airport project in Jubail Industrial City. The contract for the terminal building of the airport was to be awarded by Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) and the Royal Commission of Jubail and Yanbu (RCJY) in Q4 2020.
