Alkifah Contracting Company (KCC) has embarked on a transformational journey to consolidate its leadership position within the industry in line with its plans to contribute to the advancement of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
Some of the projects that the company secured in the past 12 months include construction of infrastructure works for housing package in Wadi Al Sail in Riffa from Bahrain’s Ministry of Housing; construction of approximately 9,000 metres of two lanes single carriageway for Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs & Urban Planning in Bahrain; design-and-build of the Coastal Village packages A & B for 40 enlarged Type Z buildings for The Red Sea Development Company, among others.
Despite the aftermath of the Covid-19 pandemic and the difficulties encountered in terms of logistics, labour, material supplies and additional requirements, the contractor continued working, delivering, and closing out projects for its clients.
Seven projects were completed in 2021 including, the South Dharahn Ajyal project (two packages) for ARAMCO, Off-site utilities C02 for the Royal Commission of Jubail, MOD Site 1 (three packages) for the Ministry of Defence, Jazan Commercial Port, Tatweer schools, and the power plant PP-14 project.
Alkifah’s revenue for 2021 exceeded $373.2mn (SAR1.4bn) and it is on track to double the size of the business in three years.
