Saudi Arabian Trading and Construction Company
Saudi Arabian Trading and Construction Company (SATCO) was founded in 1975 and operates in a number of industries, including construction, landscaping, catering, airport support services, and systems control.
It was founded at the same time as the Kingdom’s construction boom.
SATCO has provided services to companies including Yanbu Petromin Refinery, NEOM, Riyadh Airports Company (RAC), Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Saudi Binladin Group, Saudi Aramco, and General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), among others.
The company has been known for its work on several airports including King Khalid International Airport (KKIA), domestic airports in Saudi Arabia such as Gassim, Gurayat, Turaif, and Sharourah.
It has also delivered work on the Hajj Terminal Complex at King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA), Blaise Diagne Airport, Diass in Senegal, as well as build, operate, and transfer (BOT) project in Arar, Tabuk, and Abha airports.
Previously, SATCO alongside Al-Tamimi Group secured the contract to build and operate the ‘Construction Village’ within the $500bn NEOM gigaproject housing 30,000 workers.
SATCO’s was appointed to build a single residential area for 10,000 workers within the project. It will operate the village for 10 years with Al Tamimi.
